At Q Crane & Plant Hire, we operate an established and dedicated Transport Department that not only transports our Crawler Cranes and Plant across the UK and provide logistical support for our customers.
Every load – no matter how big or small requires a different approach, so we assess each load / journey on an individual basis.

Operating our own HGV’s and trailers allows us to deliver an effective response at short notice, whilst adhering to movement orders for larger items of equipment.
We have the capability to support your transport requirements from 45ft flats, semi low loaders, low loaders, rigid wagons, artic hiab, rigid hiabs (some are fitted with hiab’s to assist in the rigging of Crawler Cranes).

To assist with abnormal load movements, we operate our own private escort vehicles, fully compliant with guidelines set out by Highways England.
Our driving team are highly experienced in the movement of all types of abnormal loads throughout the UK.

Our low loaders have the capability of moving anything from a up to a payload of 80T.
We are able to offer third party transport service to anyone who wishes to transport equipment as an additional level of capacity to your own transport.
